Terms of sale

These terms apply when you order from Somewhere Ours at somewhereours.com. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Your order

Each print is personalized from the photos and words you provide. After payment, we create your artwork and send you a proof. Your order goes to print only after you approve the proof. One round of revisions is included; additional changes may be offered at our discretion.

How the artwork is made

Our artwork is created with AI illustration tools guided by our own styles, then reviewed and finished by a person in our studio. It is an interpretation of your place, not a photographic or architectural record, and small details may be simplified. Your words are typeset by us exactly as entered at checkout or as corrected in your proof.

Your photos

You confirm that you have the right to use the photos you upload and that they don't infringe anyone else's rights. We use them only to create your order. Please don't upload photos of people who haven't agreed to it; we draw the place, not the people.

Ownership and use

Your print is for your personal, non-commercial use. We keep the right to use our styles, layouts, and studio techniques. We won't display your artwork publicly unless you opt in, and never with your names.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and include US shipping. Sales tax, where it applies, is shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order.

Cancellations, refunds, and replacements

You can cancel for a full refund any time before you approve your proof. After approval, because the print is made for you, we can't accept returns for a change of mind. If your print arrives damaged or doesn't match your approved proof, we'll replace it at no cost. See our shipping and returns policy.

Liability

We're responsible for making and delivering your order with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
